PARTNERING FOR HAWKSBILL TURTLE CONSERVATION IN EL SALVADOR
For many years, it was believed that hawksbill turtles had disappeared from El Salvador. Today, El Salvador is key to their survival. Wild Earth Allies works hand-in-hand with Salvadoran partner ProCosta to protect hawksbill turtles by deepening ProCosta’s local hawksbill conservation network, composed largely of former egg poachers and artisanal fishers.
