A picture is worth a 1,000 words

Dear Friends,

What a pleasure to close the year by sharing this remarkable visual from our first set of camera traps placed in Cambodia’s Prey Lang Forest.

Vathana and Thy strived to beat the rains in order to set up cameras in key locations for elephant and other wildlife activity. And, clearly they knew what they were doing when they assessed the sites! Rarely have we seen so many compelling photos from first-round camera placement – and great video footage too – that we will edit and share with you in the New Year.

Our camera trap images underscore the importance of Prey Lang Forest for Asian elephants
and other critical wildlife, and encourage us to deepen our efforts.

To help us accelerate our work in Prey Lang and other priority landscapes around the world, please consider a year-end contribution to Wild Earth Allies.

As a recipient of 4 stars from Charity Navigator for many years, we will get your donation to work on the ground quickly and efficiently.

With these inspiring camera trap images, and your support, we are optimistic heading into 2018.

Happy New Year!
