We are so pleased to share the following announcement about a positive conservation evolution underway.

Since 1903 Fauna & Flora International (FFI), a UK charitable company with operations globally, has led the way with innovative conservation. For many years, FFI and its US partner Fauna & Flora International, Inc. (FFI, Inc.), a non-profit organization, have delivered notable conservation impact around the world.

Moving forward, the partnership will evolve and harness the respective strengths of each organization. FFI, Inc. will separate from FFI and take a new name that will be announced soon.

“The US board is excited to build on our history and create a new conservation organization that will be more tailored to our US constituency and allow us to enter the US world of conservation directly,” said Clea Newman Soderlund, Board Chair of FFI, Inc.
“Our future plans call for new investments in cutting-edge projects and partners to conserve threatened biodiversity, both internationally and here in our own backyard.”

“FFI will continue its global conservation program and is setting up a new office in the US to raise funds for this work,” said Andrew Sykes, Chair of the FFI Council. “By expanding the conservation efforts of our organizations as separate entities, more biodiversity will benefit.”

Look for an update in September about our new name and plans for protecting threatened wildlife and habitats worldwide.

We look forward to continuing opportunities to collaborate with you as we take these bold next steps.
