Two years ago, we launched a new chapter under the name Wild Earth Allies to signify a renewed vision of wildlife flourishing in healthy ecosystems that sustain us all.
Since then, we have accelerated conservation in our key program areas including:
Placing more than 30 camera traps in Cambodia’s Prey Lang Forest, improving management response through increased field intelligence about key areas used by Asian elephants and other wildlife.
Intensifying Grauer’s gorilla protection to address poaching threats in the upland sector of DRC’s Kahuzi-Biega National Park, with Dr. Augustin Basabose and NGO Primate Expertise.
Expanding our partnership with ProCosta in El Salvador, protecting over 90% of critically endangered hawksbill turtle nests and releasing more than 20,000 hatchlings this season.
Launching a multi-year initiative with botanist Dr. Steven Brewer and the University of Belize to create the first comprehensive field guide for over 1,100 tree species in Belize.
Today we are joining Instagram to inspire more collaborative conservation action and to share our optimism about the future. You can show your support by following us and leaving your comments.
We also need your financial support to deepen our conservation work. Please consider donating today and we can continue to protect our natural world, together.
